Why is it that the bushing that fails the most often on the series suspension is the one that requires a special tool to service?

With the correct size hole saw you can remove a bushing in under a minute. Once the core is out it's relatively easy to collapse the remaining part of the bushing and pull it out.

The hardest part is installing the new bushings, which is explained in the link I provided above. tool does not require mounting plates to be removed for either removal or fitting.
