Below is an overview of trash days based on where your home is.

Beginning December 26 and ending January 14, Waste Management will collect holiday trees free of charge. Trees must be stripped of all ornaments, garlands, tinsel, flocking, stands, and placed on the curb near your carts, on your regularly scheduled collection day. Residents may dispose of their Tree Waste and Junk Waste at their curbside.

Tree Waste is collected during ODD numbered months and Junk Waste is collected during EVEN numbered months. Note: Depending on the service agreement, some customers will incur a one-time charge for Christmas tree pickup. If trees are not picked up locally, there may be a drop off.

Christmas Tree Recycling. If you live in an HOA community serviced by Waste Management that has green waste services, Waste Management will collect and recycle Christmas trees for the first two weeks following Christmas on your scheduled collection day.

The City does not provide trash cans.

Trees taller than six feet must be cut in half and placed inside your green waste cart. Waste Management will collect and recycle Christmas trees, starting on December 26, for two (2) consecutive weeks at no additional charge.

Trees longer than six (6) feet must be cut in half. Please remove all decorations including tinsel, lights, ornaments and tree stands. Flocked trees will be collected by the trash truck but cannot be recycled. Waste Management provides recycling service weekly. Container Setout Instructions.

Place cart at the curb with handles facing the curb by 6 a.m. on collection days and remove same day. Keep cans or carts a minimum of 2 feet from cars, mail boxes and other objects.

Also, make sure carts are out from under trees or any overhead items. Bulky waste does not include items such as car bodies and construction and demolition waste.
